Mary was born in the UK, studied at the Swiss Institute of Technology at Lullier. After work experience in France, Canada Switzerland and England (where she was involved in projects for the City of London and later became independent) she moved to Lausanne.
She works in both public and private sectors and she brings her own personal design and creative ideas to her projects. These include private gardens, school playgrounds, business parks, cemeteries, collective habitats, green roofs and the rehabilitation of historical gardens. She enjoys listening to her clients’ wishes and transforms them into substantial projects, in French or English, with her own creative touch. As a project evolves, she maintains a dialogue with her client.
The design office carries out mandates, both public and private, from design to development and realisation, whatever the scale of the project and involves the following:
• Preliminary project file (sketches, plans, sections)
• Project file (illustrations, photomontages, perspectives, plans, sections, etc.
• Technical design plans
• Feasibility study
• Project co-ordination
• Administrative follow-up, cost control
• Planning & follow-up of work sites
• Judge for competitions
